Talking Racing Other Zs

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there is a point in racing other Zs on the freeway? Pretty much it's the same car if no mods. Even with mods doesn't necessary mean the other Z is faster. I figure if it is the same car, it all depends on skills and *****.

The reason I ask is b/c the other day coming home from work on the 55 South, a black Z with exhaust wanted to race. I was merging from the 5 S to the 55 S and was going pretty fast on that turn and passed him. I was not looking for a race but he speed up and past me. I looked over and was going to wave and he just full throttled it. I was thinking should I....but just decided to cruise.

I was just curious on how everyone feels.

I feel exactly the same way. It seems like others just want to prove that they are the superior Z. Sounds quite foolish to me.

I actually have done it a few times just for kicks. It wasn't like an aggressive race, we just want to push our cars a bit. Afterwards, hitting maybe 90 or 95, we shut down; exchanged thumbs up. No ego at work here.

I'd imagine it's just thrilling with no "my car is superior to yours" mentality. At the end of the race, you guys both have the same car.

But then again you have a Roadster, he probably just wants to see if theres a difference.

With that said, racing is bad!!
