For 6 years I've taught 3rd grade in Inglewood, but I can't ake it any more. I need to get out and work in another district. If you work in a school, or in a district, or know someone who does, I need to contact them ASAP. I should have posted this sooner, as the school year is about to start, but...
If you have kids, you know a teacher. Everyone seems to know a teacher or principal or someone who works at a district. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Yeah, well you'd think 6 years of experience would at least get me a job in Inglewood (they killed my contract due to a 3 day delay in paperwork). Sadly, enrollment is down in this area so while our school didn't actually have to let anyone go (not counting me), they didn't have to replace/hire for the 4 teachers that left/retired. I'd guess charter schools are taking some as well.
I was actually offered a position and was about to start last Wednesday, until I found out a few days before that, that the vacancy was being killed off due to low enrollment. That pretty much screwed me.
