Default Good Electrician in LA/Orange/Valley

Does anyone know of a good electrician in these areas? I was involved in an accident 4 months ago and I since have fixed the body, but now the car wont start! I took it to the dealer and couldnt find the problem. They are charging me $980 to do an electrical inspection and could possibly go to $5000 if I were to need a new wire harness.

I quickly pulled the car out and is sitting at the body shop!

I bought the car back from the insurance company so charging the insurance company is not an option!

The dealer gave a hint: They seem to think there is no electrical current to the fuel pump since the car turns, but doesnt seem to have the fuel to turn on.

Thanks......

$5K for a new wiring harness? They have to be smoking crack. I could build you one for way less than half of that and install it. Wiring harnesses are a joke if you pay attention to what you are doing and actually measure things twice before cutting. Too bad you are a ways off, but I can offer some advice. Buy a multimeter, one that will beep when you get low resistance, and some extended length leads. The service manual wouldn't hurt either, look for the wire diagram, and use it to troubleshoot the system yourself. Most power sources should read around 12 volts, and grounds should have little to no resistance between the point it is grounded and the battery ground. If any of this is off, chase power wires back to their source, and grounds to their mounting points, checking for corrosion or anything that would make for a bad contact. In the end, you might just save yourself $5K.

You the man CAN0802....Thanks for the advice! I will keep this in mind. I have a lead as to what may be causing the problem. I need to verify if the fuel pump is being activated when the power is turned on. There should be a hissing sound which is the fuel pump getting a signal. The fuel pump relay's may have been shut off by the accident!

Have you ever heard about the fuel pump shutting off during or after the accident? How would I be able to reset it?

Thanks....
