Default 12/17/05: Buttonwillow Performance Clinic

We can get a group discount if we can get 5 or more people to register. In order to receive this group discount, we need to register under the same group name so I would like to use the group name, "3FIVEZEROZ". This was selected a while back. They can accomodate 60 cars and it is very limited. And because it is in December (not HOT!), those spots will go fast. Please register with them directly early to secure your spot. (Enrollment form is in their website. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of.)

Date: Saturday, December 17
Time: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Registration Fee: $195 ($175 each if we can get 5+ people)
Group name: 3FIVEZEROZ

You need to register DIRECTLY WITH THEM. However, please put your name here if you registered under 3FIVEZEROZ. Here are the details (*borrowed* from Scott Webb):

Buttonwillow Performance Driving Clinic

I certainly hope to be there in my normal capacity, but my real job might get in the way.

Ah hell yeah, I am sofa king down this time. I was very sad that I missed the last one!

Question for you veterans:
Should I put on the stock 18's for this, i.e. will I get laughed at for having 19's on a race track?

P.S. Anyone plan on staying in a nearby motel so you don't have to wake up at 5am?

You don't have to put 18s back on.
I saw a couple of ppl with 19s at the track.
But then.... my Nismo LMGT4's are 18s.

The clinic just simply cuts off registration when the class is full. And I do not know when the class fills up (it's not like they update me with a report of attendees every day). In order to secure your spot, I recommend you register early.

OEM should be fine; what is more important is the tread on your tires and how many miles you already have on them.

FYI AFAIK the only ones around there are Motel 6, Willow Inn, and Super 8.

Well I don't really care what kind of accomodations they have, as long as my car doesn't get jacked / egged / keyed or whatever in the motel parking lot.

Yes, the event is open to anyone and everyone. The majority of the attendees will be non-z owners.

OEM tires are fine (like iris said). This event is to improve your skills... so I recommend you drive with the tires that you do your regular driving with. I'd just go in my Toyo T1s on Nismo LMGT4 b/c that's what I have on all the time.
