If you keep your sessions to about 20 minutes, and this is your first event, you should be able to sqeek by the day. By the end of the day, the brake fade and mushy pedals will most likely happen on your last session.

Where do you get those track stickers at?

A guy sells them at the BMW events I've been doing.

Sorry for not responding sooner, but I was in Frankfurt for the motor show. Here's the reply I got from Les regarding the track's present position on roadsters:

Scott,

The guide I have followed is what the manufacturer represents. If they represent their car as including a factory rollover protection system we have accepted that as adequate. Some are clearly better than others. What does Nissan say?

Les Phillips

I didn't find anything on the Nissan web site about rollover protection for the Roadster, but perhaps there are other resources. I'd confer directly with Les so that there is no confusion.

i ran this by my wife and she wanted me to get a few questions answered by some track buffs here. if something were to happen on the track, like you crash or someone hits you, is it covered by your insurance? probably not right. well, can you buy track insurance for the day. i would hate to make payments on a car i dont have anymore!

Since this isn't a timed event, but a driving school event, your insurance should cover it, but it's best to check with your insurance company (but make sure you don't give them your info when you do so, just in case).

This is also my understanding from the 2 BMW events I have done. Races aren't covered; but schools should be, depending on what insurance you have.

Awsome, good for you guys! We need more track goers. Once everyone does this school, then hopefully more of you will show up to more track days with us. Let me know if anyone needs any help or advise.

Hey WA2GOOD, I don't think I've met you before (Have I?) Anyway, it's great to offer help/ advise. For myself and everyone on the board, could you briefly introduce yourself with your past track experiences? What would be your suggestions for first timers out at Buttonwillow? This will be my only 2nd time out there so I'm sure I can use a veterans advice. TIA.
