Default Shops/Clubs in Huntington?

I did a search, but I couldn't really find the answers to my questions so I thought I would start a new post. Anyway, my parents just bought a vacation home in Huntington Beach so I now have a place to stay when I go down there. Since there are no shops in Vegas that I would trust to pump my gas, and I know that So Cal has a ton of good shops, here is my question. What is the best shop close to HB? The only thing that I have now that I don't feel installing myself are my Strup Headers.

On another note. Is there any 350Z clubs in HB that I can check out. I just thought that I may be able to tag along if they are having events whenever I am down there with the Z.

Thanks guys!

Mike

Whenever there are socal Z meets, usually anyone is welcome to come along.

In terms of shops in HB...I'm not sure though Super Autobacs is up the street in Stanton for your browsing and maybe installation needs.

For sure. We are a big fan of Hurricaine's on Main St. since we can basically walk back to the condo.

Ok back to buisness... Do you guys feel confident in saying that Super Autobachs can do a good job installing my Strup Headers? Luckily with the Strup headers you don't have to tilt the motor. If so, how are there prices? Do they have a waiting list? Thanks.

Oh and so far I am 80% sure that I will be at the meet on the 15th of October.

Autobacs is like car guy heaven with regards to all the parts they have in there. Ive never had, or even heard of them installing anything on a Z though. I usually see more riced out hondas around there than "real" tuners.

Thats awesome! Tell them the do a good job, and to never cap off that water valve at the bottom of the stairs. That thing seriously creates some good laughs when used on unsuspecting friends.

Hey Rick - Tell me if this will work with the shop that you go to...

Installing headers, corner balancing car, possible steering wheel install.

Thursday 10/06 - Drop Z off at their shop late afternoon 3:00 - 4:00pm
Monday 10/10 - Pick up Z at their shop sometime before 6:00pm

The reason I ask is because I am going down to the beach house on the 6th and leaving for a Mexican cruise/wedding on the morning of the 7th. I get back at night on the 9th and I can leave whenever on the 10th back for Vegas. I would love to drop my car off at their shop while I am gone and get all that work done.

They can do all of the work except the corner balancing. But I have another place that can do that for you in a few hours.

Awesome. Do you think they can get me in on those days? Should I make an appointment? I am used to hearing about shops here having a 2-3 month waiting list.
