I got there twenty to five...for once there was no traffic. 2 cars ahead of me.
I took my time changing tires since I still haven't completely recovered from my damn flu.
The new DR's look nice 275/50/15 on Pro Star's and the new BFG tread.
BriGuyMax just hit 1.7 60's with his 18"' DR's at 26 psi which I figured let's try. The tires were at 23 psi from jegs so I figured let's try that first.
First run....holly **** not so good 2.3 60' et 13.4
I lowered the pressure to 19 PSI and got a 1.9 60' et 12.8
I lowered the pressure to 18 PSI and got a 2.01 60' et 12.95

these were in the horrific left lane I then got some runs in the right lane
1.997 60' et 12.83
1.907 60' et 12.715
2.053 60' et 12.922
1.923 60' et 12.680
and finally
1.870 60' et 12.651 YEAH!

my best 60' foot at LACR on Slicks is 1.805 (remember I hit 1.662 at Irwindale on slicks) et 12.405, hitting 1.870 on dr's is pretty damn good at LACR .
Problem is that the dr's slip when shifting where the slicks stick that's how I'm loosing et's
Good news is that I hit 2nd gear every time, I think it was really my foot being too fast off the clutch (for those of you following my 2nd gear drama...).

Overall I'm very happy for the first try on DR's. After I'm getting my boost up to 9.6 I should be able to hit 12.4's again on dr's

I wantedt to do brakcet racing but there were not enough cars. Finally one guy lined up so I went but they kept on waiting for more cars so the guy eventually backed out and went into the regular lane, so did I, too bad.

They had several Jet cars running, damn those things are amazing fastest was 6.03! my whole car shook when that thing took off.

I plan on going back there next wednesday again.
Only 3 more weeks till IDRC

yep, I'm running at the finals...that is if I qualify on saturday.

Nov 12 is qualifying and Nov 13 are eliminations.
They only allow the street class to run on radials no slicks, that's why I got the DR's
