I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop for tinted windows. Do they have nothing better to do in los angeles. I was on the 101 on the way to USC. Once I take care of the fix it ticket, what happens if i get pulled over for tint again? is it just another ticket or do i have to worry about anything worse? My plan is to have the tint get taken off and then put right back on. good or bad idea? Hopefully i can find someone to just sign off the ticket.

Unfortunately, I completely missed him. He was actually passing me a bit and then turned his head and saw me. I saw him at the last second and he was already braking to get behind me. N e one here know n e one to write off my ticket?
just pay the fine...
prolly gonna be around $125. Will be cheaper than getting the tint removed and having it put back on.
if you get a second ticket, it might get a little bit more expensive. As a friend told me after he received three tint tickets in a span of one year, think of it as part of your annual registration fee that you are required to pay and you won't get yourself worked up about it. every year you get away without a ticket, count your blessings and go spend the $125 on a hooker.
except for special circumstances, we all know it is illegal to have tint on your front windows in CA, but we all do it anyways. pay the fine and move on.

i am passing along second hand information.
i was lucky enough to know some people, but yeah, you should get a ticket in the mail in 7-10 business days where you'll have the option to pay the fine or get it fixed.
if you pay the fine, then you can continue driving it until you get pulled over the next time.

dem... if i get pulled over for tints, next thing i'll do is put even darker tints on
haha that will show em
you do get something in the mail, but you cant just pay and keep on driving, the latter will have a space for some one to sign off on.
but yea what you do is, you take the tint off, go to the court house they handle fix it tickets at the payment offices(atleast in santa monica) an officer comes out with you to the car to see that the tint is off and signs a paper, you go back it pay like 15bucks for the ticket and 10bucks for the guy to come out and you're set
you can also go to a place where they sign it off for free like in culver city but there they will look for other things to bust your ball for.
