Just wanted to see what everyone's driving record is like:

Anyone got any speeding tickets or other "points" on their record???

Or are you one of those people who've NEVER gotten a ticket?

Did you get them before or after you got your Z???

Only asking cause I got pulled over this morning. Luckily, the cop was the coolest officer I've ever met in my life and he let me go with a warning (that makes one "good" run-in with the police).

 

I've only gotten one ticket (KNOCK ON WOOD). 2 weeks after I got my drivers license, going 65 in a 45 down a hill.

So afraid about the Z - husband is already complaining about the insurance

Where did you get pulled? And were you actually speeding?

 

I have been pulled over 3 TIMES in the Z. In the last 4 months. I have only been pullled over once before in my old car...in 10 years!

Only got one fix it ticket for tint though...

I'd bet there's a pretty good reason alot of us Silverstone people got that color: the Poh-leesee..

I'd bet more people with Red, Blue, or Sunset have been pulled than those with Silverstone. . . Just a hunch (not to mention talking to other members at meets)...

 

Hmmm... officer said that I was doing 65 in a 40 mph zone on the street... not trying to be a smartass, but I really didn't think I was going that fast... I recall looking at BOTH speedometers when I first saw the cop and they read 45 mph... whether or not he was pulling my leg, he was really down to earth... no power trips and let me off with a warning... it was on Huntington in San Marino...
