Hi, I'm new to the boards and I'm looking at purchasing a 350Z in the very near future. Currently, I own a 2000 Toyota Celica GT, but I'm looking for an upgrade on looks and performance
. Right now, I'm set on getting the base model. Anyone here have one? If so, how much did you end up paying? I know Mossy Nissan's selling them at MSRP, correct? Plus I hear there's a wit for them, how long? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to joining the ranks of 350Z owners here in the San Diego area. Keep me posted on any upcoming meets. I'd Love to see your car's in person

BTW, I'm in the Scripps Ranch Mira Mesa area

Hello and welcome! I am not sure that there is a long wait at all. Assuming you are willing to pay MSRP, I would do the following...
Get in touch with a salesperson at every Mossy dealership. Make sure they know what you want and that you are ready to buy on the spot. Usually, they will call the moment it comes off the truck. Base model is probably the most rare, but they are not uncommon. You may also want to consider broadening you search to the LA area as well. I don't think you will have a hard time finding what you want. Good luck!

I got mine from Mossy in Kearny Mesa.
I dealt with a guy named, "Butch Peachy".
He treated me well...straight shooter for the most part. He really did his best to work me on the extended warranty though.
MSRP, by the way...
565-4411

Just got back from Mossy. I met Butch but he was already helping a customer. Daniel helped me out. Nice guy and very helpful. As of right now, there are no base Daytona blue's available. I guess the base model is very hard to find. Guess I may have to order one.
