Where should I buy my Z?
I'm about to look for an 06 Z to buy. I was wondering if there are any dealerships that mod new z's with the cool nesmo stuff that nissan has on their site (in the the build a z section) if so, what does this do to the waranty and will the dealership/shop guaranty it themself....
I'm sure some of you are saying "just buy the car and mod it later". well, to be honest, I wanna do as much as possible so I can have it all financed togeather with the car loan.
I'm not looking to constantly add stuff to the car over time but I would like to have the most options at the time of purchase. things like suspension and exaust systems.
anyway...I would appreciate any advice on southern California dealerships (LA/OC area only please)
Thanks for the help and I look forward to joining all you z owners in the next couple of weeks.

Try heading up Jason, Tony or Andy from Performance Nissan:
http://www.performancenissan.com
They are all on the boards. I havent bought any cars from their dealership, but perhaps they can guide you in the right directions regarding mod friendly Nismo parts included in financing.
Also check out their parts website very exstensive and A+ customer service:

Good luck!

I did not buy my car from Performance Nissan so I can not comment on that but in terms of service and parts that's the place to go.
Here are two dealers to stay away from:
Universal Nissan....they straight out lied to me and completeley overcharged me. They made promises that they didn't keep, even though they are in walking distance from me I'd never go there again.
Miller Nissan Woodland Hills:
I got my second Z there, I went through CarsDirect which I can HIGHLY recommend so the actual buying was fine but my Z had a faulty Keyless Entry system and it took them 4 weeks (6 visits from me) to fix and after I complained to their manager I was offered a free car wash an oil change (which was already stated on my contract I'd get anyway....)
Hope this helps, you'll love you Z!!!

Be sure you contact Jason first "BEFORE" you come to the dealer. He will walk you past the sales staff to the Fleet guy, Ken, who works with my Nismo staff. This way you get a no BS price of cost plus a couple bucks and no pressure.
