Birthday Adventure?
Well, my girl's birthday is just around the corner. Although I have some good ideas, I wanted to hear or get suggestions on some of the stuff some people have done here in Southern Cali. Now keep in mind, no getaways as her birthday is on a Monday and she has to work the next day. Some romantic ideas would be ideal.
Lets hear them!

Castaways in Burbank is another resturant that has a great view. It is up a Burbank mountain and has a nice bomb fire patio over looking Burbank. Food is ok nothing to write home about.
If your looking for good food try Sonora Cafe in West Hollywood (La Brea District). Southwestern style, but gourmet! Small place and perfect for dinner for two. Call ahead and ask for the table next to the fire. Remember to order a Patron Punch. Look at the menu online! www.sonoracafe.com

Yamashiro in LA (http://www.yamashirorestaurant.com/)
Awesome view of L.A. with a little Shinto shrine (Best at night). Beautiful atrium with garden / pond thingy. Located in West Hollywood near TONS of clubs =P
or
The 555 Steak House in Long Beach, across from the convention center near the Aquarium and Queen Mary. Go a little bit south down PCH, and you got access to some nice beaches.
or
Miniature Golfing / Arcade at Camelot Golfland =P (Eat somewhere else, pizza is like cardboard soaked in cheese.)
