El,

The pro is that you can pick a color you like. The con is that you can really mess up and cause a fire (j/k).

Id say its more for looks than anything. The color on my set has changed in the last year due to heat so thats my con. Think I paid 70 for a 6 wire set.

Will do? What are you hoping for it to do? I think the OE ground wires handle the job fine. From time to time you will hear aftermarket ground wires help the idle if you have a pop charger......I honestly cant confirm that, feels the same to me. On the plus side it does look really cool but I have a feeling that almost any color will fade with time.

I say go with a Z-Extreme kit, They have many colors to choose from, they use a 4awg wire which is much thicker than the standard 6 or 8awg others use and they also have the best price and excellent service. Dont expect any diference other than looking cool. I understand that if you get one of those voltage stabilizer units or what ever they're called, then that along with your ground wires should help to keep your voltage consistant and smooth your idle and maybe free up .5hp, maybe. I will get the box thingy soon in an attempt to smooth the idle. My color is holding up well so far and as cheap as they were I dont mind swapping them out every couple years if need be.

I was just thinking it would decrease the back ground noise fromt he sdystem, i mean i dont hear it at all, But anything to even get a better crisp sound would help. The guys that instlled my system did a awesome job, But allot of people are always telling em to get the ground wires system to get a better response and the engine looks better also.

Buy better speakers and amp for your front channel. That will make a real difference. Ground wires are bunk. Just for "pretty". (until at least ONE person comes forth with emprical, quantitative evidence suggesting otherwise)

Cheers,

The Sun Auto units are not that pricey at all considering their background in this particular sector of aftermarket parts. Give them a call and they can direct you to the right product as they have a few that can be used on the Z. Ask for Hiro and tell him that I sent you

Great You won't be disappointed. I was skeptical myself, but I definitely noticed a difference and I didn't even have a sound system. You can search my old threads on this matter as I am not just saying it because I am sponsored by them
