There are a couple stories I know of. First, there was a guy whose car broke down on him. Well as he was trying to get it running; he was hit by a car. So now he helps anybody by pushing their car over the bridge to avoid getting hit. The second story was a school bus full of kids. Something about how it turned over and killed the kids. Now they're all over the bridge pushing cars probably for the same reason in my first story.
yea My cousin told me about this one.. he lives near it. What my cousin and friends did was leave the car and put babypowder on the trunk or back (wutever) and he said you can see fingerprints... weird

btw.. that is a dangerous turn if you go to fast.. I can take pics of it during the day but not in the night **** that lol

i have a spooky story to tell... but it happened when i was 17 and i was still driving my 01 civic... well anyways its around 1 o clock at night and im meeting my friend up at his house. no one is on the road, the road is completely empty. and so im cruising along at 45 mph and then suddenly i see this girl on the sidewalk, wearing a long white dress with long black hair (kind of like that girl from the ring)... and i was at a 4 way stop and i SWEAR i saw her... so i just decide its nothing big and i cruise again... but then, 3 blocks later, i see the EXACT SAME woman, but this time she had a limp in her walk... i was like oh hell no!! and i just take off... and then when i turn right into a street, i started to smell flowers.... BIG TIME no joke... whats weird is that the street was under heavy construction so it should smell like asphalt u know? by then, all the blood in my head rushed to my legs. then i find out there was a murder around there like 15 years back.. ever since then i never traveled that road past 12 am...

There was a special about something like this, where the car moves and it feels like someone's pushing the car. A while back there was a school bus full of kids and the bus gets stuck on train tracks, it broke down or something. Then this train comes and hits the bus and all the kids die. This news team and some poltergeist guru goes over to the site. They park the car on the tracks and put it in neutral, almost immediately the car starts to move. Before they parked the car, they put some powder on the back, and when they went back to check it, there were prints. And this was in the middle of the day.

Here's information on some creepy site.com or something..

The gravity hill, isn't a large one - nor a very "spooky" one. It is bordered on the left and right by residential houses in Northern Altadena.

To reach it, you travel:

North on Lake Avenue (Exit Lake from 210 E / Or W)
Right On Altadena Drive (Go up a while)
Left on Porter
Go To The Top Of Porter (It Ends)
Turn Left.

This is where it gets difficult. You'll travel over a few dips, and around a corner. Go up the hill - pass it and turn around. Now, go back where you came from until you get to where the hill starts to crest downward.

Back up about 25 - 50 Yards. Drop the car in neutral. You'll roll UP the hill.

----

After you've experienced this - go down to the dip, get your car to point UP after the dip. Put it in neutral.

You don't go anywhere. Logically, you would roll BACKWARDS. But no. You stare up at the sky...and wonder, "Why am I not moving?"

----

They aren't very BIG, LONG, or STEEP gravity hills.

They are NOT spooky.

----

THE MYSTERIOUS FOREST

Another post talked about the "forest" where "voices" and "spooky" stuff happens.

You go to the top of Lake. And its on the right hand side at the bend.

It's really just a national forest, with hiking trails.

It's not a FOREST. It's a back trail in the mountain.

The asylum is at the top, but its a 3.5 mile hike.

To enhance the experience, take the OFF-ROAD trails. Head up the asphalt path until it curves left. Go straight. Follow that trail north, you'll hit railroad tracks. Hike up those a good 2 miles...and you'll see the abandoned asylum.

-----

It's not very scary. It's just scary when you go up, but after awhile...you realize, this is just a hiking trail in a national forest.

Mostly just a bunch of pot-smoking Altadena residents attempting to hide from the over-abundent police officers (We got stopped).

You can't park anywhere, so hide your car down the hill.

-----

RATING: C

If you drive more than 30 minutes to see this, ITS NOT WORTH IT. It's fun for a local getaway, and kind of exciting if its your FIRST gravity hill. We enjoyed it, but we wouldn't waste an hour getting there.

Thank God We're Local.

-----

HINT: It's scarier if you go down Altadena Drive to where there is a gas station on your left, and your right. Ready to get spooked out? Pull into one. Scream out "IVE GOT MONEY" - You'll hear lots of voices, then gun shots.

You've started a gang riot. Excellent. Now you should be spooked, and running to the nearest hospital. They might ship you to MT. OLIVE - for being crazy.

MT. OLIVE is a NORMAL hospital. It's not scary.

Good luck O' Haunted Seekers.

I frequently went to this gravity hill in pasadena i believe (like 15 times because different people wanted to see it). It was crazy that the car went uphill but it wasn't spooky at all. Just an unexplained phenomena. I also hiked the haunted forest and I have a spooky story about that but I am way to hungover right now to type about it and i'm getting chills thinking about it. It doesn't have to do about ghosts or anything but I believe my friends and I witnessed a murder. We were like 5 inches away from the guys that murdered the girl. It was creepy.

i heard this from one of the rangers on the way to Big Bear Mountain... There was a Family who was comin down from Big Bear... The driver oversteered, and supposedly his wife had passed away due to the impact... And everytime you go down from Big Bear around 1-2am you can see her, asking for rides.... I heard she is good looking too..

This happened to my friend, he was coming down from Big Bear around 1:30am, and he saw a lady... So he slows down and ask her if everything is ok, and she asks for a ride, but my friend got scared... So he told her "i'll be back with someone to help you..." and just left.. T.T

Yup...
I have some meeessed up paranormal encounters...but they're a little personal. (having to do with family deceased) I could tell that stuff in person, not on a forum though.

There's also one in the Loma Linda. There's 2 way lanes with stop signs that nobody stops at. Around midnight, nobody stops because there's also a girl dressed up in white that hitches for a ride. If you stop she'll end up in your car, but if you keep going you'll be fine.
