Those of you in CA, what are you paying on your DMV registration/renewal fees?

Yep I searched the site and found all threads from 2003.

 

I think mine was 280 something last year.

 

Oh man I almost had a MF'ing heart attck on DMV's website.

I used their calculator and it said $2,500 something or other for registration.

Didn't realize at first that it included the CA sales tax too. It came out in actual fees something like $240 or something like that a year.

Paid $220 for 2006.

 

I think mine was around $300 including personalized plates.

I paid $358. I think its a % of sales cost. Damn 8.75% sales tax too here in Alameda county. It really sucks. Tax and licence was like just over $3800. They don't even use lub!

IIRC, I paid $268 last September (2005).
