Quick question, why did you go with the 3sge over the 3sgte? I know the 3sgte can make tons of power on stock block because I used to have a 91 mister 2.

chose the 3sge for the head design. i wasnt planning on making tons of power, but a nice good tq curve. the port velocity helped alot because it kept the same air velocity at low boost levels which keeps the tq up there. the internals are just slightly different with the gte block having lower c/r pistons and oil squirters. everything else is the same. my "high" boost setting is only 7psi

i am currently building a fortified 3sgte block and a 3sge head, that will be ported and polished. hopefully it will hold anything i intend to throw at it.
