Take out the drivers and see if they screwed it into the car from the inside.

Just a FYI, be careful before just buying a box. The type of music you listen to will determine what type of box you should buy.

I got a zenclosures knockoff for my single 10". It's doesn't move at all and I actually like how it divides the hatch. My gym bag stays put now.

If you want to see/hear one in person in So Cal LMK. I agree with TECH that the music you listen to should be the primary factor in deciding what box/sub. Mine ended up a bit more boomy that I was after...I was going for more bass-drum punch.
