Question Question About A Sub Box

Almost everyone and their mother has the 2 10" sub set-up in their Z underneath the strut. Where should I go for getting this box fitted and installed?
I live in Riverside... so please suggest something within the 909/951 area. It would also be nice to have the box upolstered (sp?) don't you think?

Have you tried Al&Ed's? Not saying they have it, but I'm sure they do...

a bit off topic but i didn't want to start on my thread. What would be the best way to install 1 12" sub? Would it work where the spare tire is and where could i mount the amp so that it can't be seen.

Hey Jim, i'll take you up on the offer. What do you drink?

Installing a 12" is difficult and it costs a good bit of money to make it look good.

I'll help you install the 10" in the ebay box the other idea ... leave the beer at home .... and stop by the ATM on your way over

Some guys hear have a fiberglass box under the strut with the 12 coming out behind the strut aimed at the rear! It looks really nice but pricey. I've been quoted $600 for just the custom box at Al N Ed's last yea, carpeted, not paintedr. As for the amp, you can put in the compartment behind your seat or behind the passenger!

You could also have someone construct a box where the spare goes! That could possible be cheaper, if your looking to save a few bucks!

if you're a DIY guy. you can do it like this if you want. It's only a 10in sub.

Damn. I have a single 10" and I think that's plenty.

I have my amp under the passenger seat and I like it there. I can fiddle with the controls pretty easily.

You can have it done at places like Circuit City, Good Guys, Best Buy. A lot of people will talk trash about those places but I think they're fine. CC will even remove all of the equipment they installed, and put back in the stock stuff, for free (if/when you sell the car). Can't beat that. It's like $50 for a HU, $50 for an amp. Something like that.

My neighbor has a under strut box installed and cannot figure out how to remove it. I looked all over it and did not see any screws.

It looks like one of the zenclosure sub boxes. Any suggestions?
