i frequent the spot every tues, just wondering if anyone else from here goes there on Tues or do you go there on Thurs when most of the Rear drive cars hit up the parking lot?

Didn't know there was a RWD meet on thursdays.

 

There's some friction between the s2k and awd crowd so the s2k guys meet on Thursdays.

 

^^^just what he said. as far as the awd crowd goes, i go cause i first had an STi so i made a few friends. but the crowd that i hang with at those meets stays AWAY i mean AWAY from the main AWD crowd. mostly because we feel they are mostly haters towards my buddies STi. they would rather nit-pick a 400+ EVO then a 560 awhp STi.

The Fusion meets use to be all about diversity. Way to just push enthusiasts away.

 

its true. san diego s2k owners(including myself) changed our fusion meet from tuesdays to thursdays. it got real bad. it almost came to blows. one night we got bout 25 s2k's to show up. covered the lot a few of the junkies were big talk online but in person pused out when confronted. long story. then drift crowd followed us to thursdays. but they are real kool. mostly from sddrift.com i been meaning to invite 350z to thursday meet. i stil go every thursday. hang out with s2k guys. they like my family =dave

wonderful world of the internet started it. an evo guy started a thread talkin smak about a few of the s2k guys. u know how people are tough over the internet. well one of our members found this thread and posted it on s2ki.com and we knew who it was. so when he got called out by the people he was slammin he became a ***** started apologizing. couple other aholes got called out but backed off. they werent so tough inperson. but some of the vets of s2ki including myself decided to switch to thursdays.

PS-why do evo owners think they have the fastest car on this planet!!!! these guys egos are huge

 

Damn that's pretty lame it ended up that way.

Oh well, most Evo guys I know seem pretty cool and well-rounded...as are the San Diego S2000 guys.

Punks exist in every car community. I just wished they just stayed the fug home, played Gran Turismo, and talk all the e-trash they want to the rest of the fan boys that actually gives a shiet...
