Hey Everyone,
wldkatz03 had put up a post for people interested in doing a clearbra group buy/install day. We were planning on doing this as an event for you guys, so not only will we be installing clearbras for everyone, but we'll also cook some barbecue and enjoy the day here at the shop.
The pricing that we've planned is for the "B" Kit, which covers the front bumper, part of the hood, and mirrors. The cost breakdown will be as follows:
Z's with stock front ends: $222 for the kit and $100 for install
Z's with custom lips: $10 per sq. ft of 3M material, $150 for install
We're providing the materials pretty much at our cost. Please let us know who is interested, as we need a minimum of 5 people to get this going. We'd plan to do this on a Saturday starting some time in the morning around 9:00-9:30 and then taking a break for BBQ.
We will also require that the bras be paid for prior to the date of the install, so that we can get all the material purchased and ready for installation. If there are any questions or requests, please feel free to post
We hope to have you guys all set to go within the next week or two

Wow bump for a good price.
Question, obviously if i get the clear bra, I won't be polishing that part of the car, but do you know if I accidentally hit it with the random orbital buffer will it totally f*ck up the clearbra?
If I don't get the clearbra I still wanna come down and hang (I live about a mile away). Can I get other mods installed instead

Sorry for not keeping up with the thread guys, I was out of the office until yesterday due to a family emergency. I'll try to respond to all the questions today so that we can get this event going.
Thanks for being patient.

jlimquest: On the Greddy lip I'll need to see if Starshield has the measurements for it. If so I can have pricing for you on Tuesday. If not we may have to ask you to take some basic measurements, probably just length and height should do.
mikeg8r: The film can be waxed like you would normally wax a car. You don't want to use a wax that isn't recommended for urethanes, and don't use any abrasive polish or rubbing compound. When you're waxing you'll get dry wax buildup on the edges of the kit. The best way to clean that off is by just using a soft bristle brush of some sort. (old tooth brush would work)
insanechink and jeff: I'll post details of the warranty on Tuesday, as I do not have the information on hand at the moment.
sbcbaseball: The dyno should be fully operational early next week. We are waiting for a part to come from DTS in Australia. Hopefully if we receive the part we can have the dyno ready.
lapulapu: I'll check the cost of just the bumper and have it for you Tuesday. I need to check with Starshield. The film used is 3M.
Red6: We can do the Saleen. The pricing for that vehicle is not on my application list. I'll have to check with Starshield on Tuesday.
Have a great memorial day weekend everyone.

We're still open to host this, but there hasn't been enough interest. We need at least 5 cars in order to do the pricing I had originally posted.

You guys can get it done at Envisage if you want. I think for a stock bumper he charges around $312 (if I remember correctly). Plus he uses the new 3M material (I think it's called 11/28 or 11/29). Tons of experience with exotics and he's just a great guy to talk to.
I think I paid $395 installed, which included an OEM front bumper + custom wrapping my ings lip.
