It would be nice to see another modded G in RSM. Most of the "spirited drivers" who roll up on me are bone stock. And 50 years old.

Santa Monica mountains and Angeles Crest area has good runs. some roads are more patroled than others while some i have yet to ever see a cop on. Santa Monica mountains, the more north and west you go, the better the roads and less frequent the police. Angeles Crest highway itself is polluted with pigs. Azusa/GMR is a very popular run, i've heard stories of cops but haven't seen any on the roads. Seen one at the end of the run waiting. The 74 east of the 15 is a fun way to get to Palm Springs. Or you can come down to San Diego in 2 weekends and do a run with me =)

I used to rock climb off of Ortega Canyon about 10 years ago and that was a motorcycle haven. It was a fun road even while in a P.O.S. Civic but there was always some azz on a bike cutting corners and making things exciting. I'd be very careful.

I was just listening to the radio yesterday and a city council member died in a car accident up in Santiago Canyon! Two days before this, I was listening to the traffic on the radio and there was another car accident up there.
I'm getting discouraged into heading up there. Is this some kind of forewarning from some passed away relatives for me to not head up there?
