Im scheduling a second alternative meet. Well do something like a meet in the same place and a big long malibu pch cruise/ with interlagos twisty to get to pch. Then well stop at a restaurant etc. cuz right now im assuming that this meet is Deff. gonna get pushed back..

Come on Nor Cal guys...let's get on this!!! I wanna be able to make it to meet! it'll be my first!

 

Don't push it back guys, just try to stick to the date and get it done with.

That way we can start planning the SB cruise, now that's the one I'm really looking forward to

 

Yeah, no more pushing back. We still have 3 weeks to get Norcal's act together. Part of the reason they got out of synch with us was because we already shifted from July 1 to July 8. Let's stick with July 8.

 

+1....we've done plenty of pushing back. I think the biggest reason for that has to do with people being confused and not committing. Now that we ARE committed, let's start an OFFICIAL thread with all the Norcal/Socal info. That way people know what they are signing up for, etc.

 

OK So the plan is, keep the meet on July 8th and then have another meet, shortly thereafter, hopefully to get all those who can't make the Hearst meet involved?

 

So confused.... and what is this Newport meet on 7/8? Somebody give me the linky?

 

I think that's the best plan. The reason is, if we have the Hearst Castle meet too late in the summer (late July/August), it will be super hot, and I personally I wouldn't want to be driving through all that heat for so long...

The Santa Barbara run can be later on since even though it will be hot, it won't be as long. And anyone who couldn't make it out to Hearst Castle can go to that one instead (or in addition to).
