Default Trying to find a long long straight safe area..

I've wanted to do some speed runs, but I can't find any place where it is somewhat safe to do so. I live in Malibu, does anyone know of a place within 30 minutes of me that has a long stretch of road, with no side streets and *hopefully* no cops? The only place I know of is a stretch of PCH, right where it turns inland going north from Malibu. But still, cops are around, so eh.

actually you might wanna keep going past La Verne... if you want it completely empty wait till you get to the end of the freeway close to the 15 and of course it depends on the time of day I hardly see cops around there I used to commute there a lot Also the 71 after the 60 in chino and there is actually one really new street that is really empty It's off the euclid exit from the 71 One block after Pine St. Ohh and where the ontario street races are. and the 215 has like a 3 mile stretch of 2 lane highway that is usually empty in Devore near the san bernardino national forest.there are so many places but I've gone on long enough

I didn't see where you were from I dont know anything around there sorry

i know a few excellent places in the diamond bar/walnut area where ive raced countless times. otherwise, i'd say the 71 towards corona can be good without cops, and the 210 around the claremont area going into rancho cucamonga would be good, that's where i hit 145 mph at 2 AM.

Been looking for a spot. Where in Diamond Bar/Walnut? Grand Ave. is the only one I could think off & always need to be careful with the Sheriffs Dept. on Valley.

210 East towards Pasadena.
Very wide and long stretch of road.
Not many cars (avoid rush hour) and no cops.
I always hit 1XXmph there.

I got an idea. Spend $300/or less on an Escort Passport 8500 Radar Scanner. And speed all you want, when you want. And be sure to make your own Autobahn on a long stretch of road at 4am on a weekday, and make sure, I'm not walking across it when you do.

Try the 14 or 395 on the way to Ridgecrest.
