I saw that on the news last night. The sad thing is that the relatives where looking for the woman and the police didn't know about it. It wasn't until some of the relatives saw a news crew and asked what all the fuzz was about. Not realizing it was their relative.
Once the relatives asked the reporters if they can keep an eye out for the missing woman, the reporter realized it was the woman that was just runned over...... Soo sad!

Accident waiting to happen.The front visibility of that vehilce,on the beach.Sooner or later,and then it happens.This was preventable.

thats like the second tourist from another place that has been killed in calif within a week. i think on sunday night down here in san diego a lady from india was hit and killed by a driver. she was in town for a convention.
what has this world come too.

on alvarado in LA right past berkeley going towards sunset they have these 2 stupid crosswalks where people just happen to cross on a busy *** street like alvarado, i always slow down but others just do like 60, i wish they had those annoying warning lights like in glendale that flashes up the whole crosswalk.

I know which lights in glendale your talking about. Those things are extrememely effective...kinda like blinking lights on a landing strip. Cars definetly stop for pedestrians because of it.
