I saw that on the news last night. The sad thing is that the relatives where looking for the woman and the police didn't know about it. It wasn't until some of the relatives saw a news crew and asked what all the fuzz was about. Not realizing it was their relative.

Once the relatives asked the reporters if they can keep an eye out for the missing woman, the reporter realized it was the woman that was just runned over...... Soo sad!

Three blocks from my loft. She crossed against the light and was hit and killed, the driver fled the scene. I drive through there every day at least four times, and have someone either leaving or going to the convention center trying to cross when they aren't supposed to. I could see the city building a bridge to cross safely there, so we don't have to worry about hitting the idiots.

on alvarado in LA right past berkeley going towards sunset they have these 2 stupid crosswalks where people just happen to cross on a busy *** street like alvarado, i always slow down but others just do like 60, i wish they had those annoying warning lights like in glendale that flashes up the whole crosswalk.

I know which lights in glendale your talking about. Those things are extrememely effective...kinda like blinking lights on a landing strip. Cars definetly stop for pedestrians because of it.
