Default FS feeler/help - 2005 350z

I would like some input on pricing. It appears that people lose a ton of money on modded cars. I have 15k invested. what kinda $$ can I get for mine? I'm interested on a '06 convertible 6mt 350z for a change. Should I go stock and sell my parts? I'm only half serious about selling. 21k miles. CLICK ON MY SIG for info.

if you keep the mods, you will lose most of the money. But if you can and want to deal with taking everything off and shipping and all that then you could probably get a good about of money back . . .

Mods are not cost effective. Bottom line. Unless you find a buyer that wants your exact setup, you take a hit. As others have said, if you can handle the hassle, strip em off and sell them piece by piece. IF you kept your stock bumpers, side skirts, and exhaust, it shouldn't be too big of a hassle, return to stock and sell off the parts. All those pieces are nice and in demand, you should be able to get a good buck.

Going stock and selling everything is the only way you'll make back any of that spent money. But that's a HUGE hassle.

There's a slim chance that someone who just bought an 06 ZR might be having second thoughts and now wants a coupe. Maybe you can work out a nice trade and get some $ from them. Not likely but worth poking around here...
