Alright folks, I'm gonna say it like this - we need to have the meet to end all meets... Thats right... The one where we find some place that we can line up everyone's 350's up to form a "Z" and then get somewhere high enough that we can take a picture of it without having to rent a helicopter for the day. I'm just putting the idea out there. I have NO idea where we might be able to find a spot like this, but I'm sure somewhere in Southern California between Ventura and National City there has to be a place that we can line up 15-20 Z's (if not many, many more) in to a Z and make it happen. We could make a big event out of it, have a drive in the morning or something like that, or a bbq, or a night cruise afterwards. Call up Nissan and tell them we're putting this thing together, maybe they might wanna send out some press, you know that sorta thing.

Alright folks. The idea's out there... Lets make it happen!

If we do this kind of event... I think it is a good idea to have it on a NON-holiday weekend. This way people won't be so busy.

I also think that if ya do this event... make sure to post it in the GENERAL forum. I know a lot of socal 350Z owners don't browse this Region Forum section.

Alright I'm done. I'm really not trying to take responsibility for putting a meet together - I just don't know the area well enough to put something together that'll please some of the people all of the time or vice versa. And yes, for the record, this was Bullish's idea, so blame him if it all goes to hell. Anyways, in terms of getting up to take a shot, I'm talking about 5-10 stories high, that should give enough angle that it would actually look like we made a sweet "Z" shape.

Any other thoughts or feelings y'all would like to share with the class? Also, we definitely need to make a significant showing for the West Coast Z Car Nat's.

Are we ever gonna get MY350Z stickers? At this point I'm about to make a sign I can flash to other Z drivers as I pass them: "IF YOU WANT TO BE COOL LIKE ME AND SNOOPYZ, GO TO MY350Z.COM" It'll work. GIRLS GONE MEGA MEET, here we come.

b18 - Don't tell me you're the one I always see cruising down 2nd street on Friday nites! I live down by the traffic circle, so I'm around - usually somewhere between state, the traffic circle, and the coffee shop down at the LBC marketplace.

But now the surefire way to know if its me is if you see a silverstone without side "Z" badges.

What about a college that has a tall parking structure that is next to an open parking lot. Or a mall. Northridge Mall? by sears? southwest corner.

Some malls have 4 story garages and then right next to it is open parking lot.

oh oh oh ... he he Do it at the nissan building in OC. I dunno how their layout is, but maybe their lot is next to the building. Park in the lot and then go up to the top floor in the building. After all, they did make your car. why not let you go through their building!

Join Group Z, our local Z car club.

The biggest meet of the year is going to be hosted by Group Z in 2004 - the National Z Car Convention. I know this is a year away, and not an immediate 'fix' for a get-together. But if you want to do a large get-together right, it takes planning.

I'm not saying to do nothing until 2004. I'm just saying that with our local Z car club being the 2004 host of the National Convention, now would be a good time to join the club, and get prepared for next year, when the spotlight is going to be shining on So Cal.

 

Hmmmm... I think 2004 is too far away for my television-addicted-internet-information-on-demand-cell-phone-email-anywhere-generation mind. I'm thinking like April or May.

Besides, my350z IS my local car club
