A stop at the rock store might be cool, but would we still want a spot to regroup after the latigo section?

I think so. When we get to PCH we could regroup there. On two-lane PCH, it should be easier to keep together.

Btw, the Rock Store seems to be quite the hang out for celebs. Here is it's precise location:

Unfortunately, I will not be able to join you all on this run...I am on a plane Wednesday morning for Daytona Beach. The company I work for has a booth there for Spring Break weekend (a car audio company), so I have to attend this deal. It's a crappy job, but someone has to do it

Everybody enjoy, drive safe, and take lots of pics! Hopefully I will be able to join in the next adventure!

Hmmm...that doesn't sound like a bad gig to me!

C'mon...Daytona Beach + Spring Break + company sponsored?

That's a "win-win-win" in my book.

If you're heading back to the 101 from Neptune's Net, you owe it to yourself to try Yerba Buena (the road right next to Neptune's Net) to Mulholland Hwy. I haven't driven it in a couple of years, but it was a great drive with almost no traffic, at least until you hit Mulholland Hwy.

Here's my thoughts on the Rock Store...If we head up Kanan to Sierra Creek Rd and turn left you go about a block before you hit Mulhulland..turn right and in about a minute the Rock Store is on your left...can't miss it...probably no place to park but along the side of the road if you actually want to stop there (not advisable IMHO) You can continue on Mulhulland till it rejoins Kanan...lots of twisties...problem here is that there is only a stop sign at Kanan and Mulhulland so expect the group to get split up big time. Not trying to put a damper on your plans but I've been to the Rock Store many times and know the lay of the land there. But..I'm in for the ride..whatever

My vote would be skip the rock store, but I'll go along with whatever everyone else wants to do.

So what's the initial meeting time and place?

I'm still in break in so I'm going to pass on the hill run.

Thanks
Jeff

Location:
StarBucks Coffee Shop
5422 Topanga Canyon Blvd.,
Woodland Hills, CA 91367

It looks like there will be a lot of people showing up. Therefore, to respect everyone else's valuable time, please try to be present at 10:00 a.m. as we plan to depart at 10:30 a.m. San Diegians/OCers, if you're running late, just call me. PM me if you need my cell number.

Neptune's Net and the beach should make ideal spots for a photo shoot. Please remember to bring your digital cameras.

I hope the rest of you are looking forward to this canyon run as much as I am because it should be a blast.

Can't wait.

I won't be able to join you guys for anything after lunch though, have to go into work after the drive, and lunch.

So I'm going to go do a runthrough tomorrow, and just check out the whole run. I'll make a post tomorrow when I get back, and have figured out a good place to re-group on the PCH before we head up to Neptune's.

Also, if someone has an extra radio I could borrow for the drive, I'd appreciate it.

Ooooh, a Latigo run... sounds delicious. You fellas mind if one or a couple of your older Z brothers (Z32's) come along for the ride? It's been a while since we Socal guys (mostly from TwinTurbo.net) did a canyon run and I'm going into withdrawal.

Absolutely. If you like, invite your buds from the Z32 forum. This is an open run and we'd love to see your Z there.
