Default Does this price sound good for Paint?

Just got a quick quote from MOB Works in Orange to paint my front bumper and lip for $400. That includes prep, paint (in SB), and install. How's it sound?

Also, anyone have a suggestion on where else to go for a good job at a fair-cheap price?

Thanks

MOB does quality work, that is if you get the whole car painted. For a bumper job look into different body shops or you can always look up the add section on craigslist.com
there is a few people that work at body shops that do work on the side. I got my front bumper shaved and painted for $150...Good luck

how does the quality hold? Could you PM me the number? I've got a hood that needs to be painted.

That seems like a decent price for what you're having done.

M.o.b. Works does an awesome job. They even managed to make my replica kit, which needed a lot of help, look nice.

That's a standard price. I'd be worried about paying less actually. You tend to get what you pay for around here.

I'll be going to mobworks to get my kit painted. Nismo front bumper, styleking sides, and ings rear. Quoted price was $2,000 prep/paint/install.

I just hope they do a good job.

I just got qouted for $350 from another shop close by MOB Works. It was $400 at first but he is giving me a break for just bringing in the bumper and lip!? Sound odd? They do good work, looks like a lot of insurance claims get done there.

But so far it looks like MOB Works may get my business.

Try Sixteen Customs in Gardena. Althought the price will probably be the same, he does EXCELLENT work! Japanese people are super meticulous!

Hey BashaZ,

Is that where you go your kit painted? I was thinking of going there but Gardena is much further away than Orange. I can't wait to see your car. Gotta check out that paint job, haha.

Yup, that's where I got it done I live about 40 miles away from there, but it was worth it I think. Plus my work was only about 10 miles away. haha
