Default Modena.. Psst.. no challenge...

Well, was bored, so went shopping with my gf at Rodeo.. It was July 4th so there was almost no one at Rodeo except the real bored. Anyways, meet up w/ a Modena. He speeds towards me and slams on the brakes as we wait by the stop light, rolled down the window and then waved at me. I smiled back as he starts reving. My god, the sound is just orgasmic. Light turns green, we went for it, and half way down the street, I lead by around 2 car. I was like.. wtf, this is one slow car?!?! With his window down, he hollered, 'I screwed up ' I joked at him for owning such a nice car but having no skills.. he laughed back...

He starts reving again waiting for green... This time, however, he owned me He slowed down as I drove to a parking lot and we waved good bye...

It was pretty fun... and definitely awesome to hear one right next to you while racing..

Yea. I owned a Mondena F1 trans on the freeway. It was pretty ugly. Got about 7car lengths on him to 155mph from a 40mph roll. The car does sound sweet.

With 406whp and 420tq I could imagine getting to 155mph pretty quick.

I think the only way you can actually 'own' a Modena is handing over 6 digits of cold hard cash.

Those cars sound so good. I've followed some 360s through the canyons a few times and it just makes it all the more fun.

Ok, I didn't read your sig. I guess you really could pwn a 360 =P

I don't know about the '05+, but the '03-'04s still have the fuel cut off at 145 mph which was why I was saying BS.

I stand corrected.

I've done 155mph while going against a 6 liter Pontiac GTO. Felt like the car could have gone to 200 the way it was still pulling. APS TT as well...with a whole lot of other upgrades, making 471whp.
