Default Audio tuners?

Any good audio tuners in the 626 area code? Or ins ocal in general? I think my system is in dire need of some tuning because it sounds like ****. Although I can do it msyelf i rather get it professionally done (since i heard thats better)?

Sorry I never got back to you....have had a hell of a week ....

Having some house troubles .. our bathroom exploded and flooded us with ~6,000 gallons of water while I was at work.

Anyhow ... most stuff is tied up here now and I'll have some free time again.

Please post your equipment list here again.

wow that sounds like trouble.. i hope everything is alright.

My equipment is:

jl 1000/1 paired with two JL 10w6v2 subs
jl 450/4 paired with 2 DLS up6 front components and 2 DLS 426 coaxials
Headunit is Kenwood DDX-8017

Aside from the very bad sound quality, i have very annoying whines and they are mostly coming from the rear speakers. The whine is pretty umbearable unless i turn my music really loud so i dont hear it. So yeah those are my 2 major problems.. the whining and the horrible sound quality.

Sounds like we need to set up a 350Z Audio meet. Most of the meets I have been to do not put much interestes in the Audio side of things. Most of the meetings I have been too have been great, but most of the concentration is focused on engine and performance upgrades which is great, but I also am a car audio fanatic. I think we can share some install and tunning ideas. Might help some people out to see what other members 350's sound like

I totally agree with this, I need some things finished up and some more ideas, as well as there are some things in my car that rattle and I want them fixed, but I cannot figure out where they are. I am definately down for this meet if we can set it up.

I do not think it will be so much for fixing, but more along the lines of what you can do to better your system and what might be wrong. I myself have an RTA program on my laptop that we can use so you can see what your system looks like on a RTA. It will also help to get a better understanding of what is the next step in building your system. Jim PM me and we can set it up.

Mike what happened? I know you put the deck back in yourself. Did you check to make sure everything is in the right places? Regarding the whine, did u ever take it back to the place that did your install? That should be something they should fix!

John, i'm not sure exactly what happened. Basically when i turn up my music right now, the music like cracks and sounds like the speakers can't handle the music. I'm not sure if i had this problem before or not.. since i didnt have my headunit for a good 2 months. I haven't taken it back to the audio shop yet, i just don't have the time to drive all the way there

Ok guys we can do it this Sunday which is the 16th or we can set it up for the end of the month which is the 30th. If Saturday is better for everyone we can set it up for the 5th of August. This is for the weekends, if during the week works better for people chime in. We can set up the location after we have a date set.

There's nothing fancy w/ my setup but I'm in. We need to find someplace with a large parking lot where we can bump without anyone getting upset. Any big corporate areas that are vacant on weekends?

Most of you are closer to LA than OC right?

Maybe we can find some middle ground.
