Reality check: The Z is a very common car. Its one of the best selling sports car nowadays. The truth is many people that bought them are just not into cars. They want it because:

A) They think its a cute car.

B) There so many of them on the road, they must be good, right? Therefore I'll buy one too

C) My granddaughter/grandson says its a cool car and that I should get it.

D) Its not too expensive and I've always wanted a sports car.

I see the same complaint on other car forums regarding their cars...M3s, Corvettes, S2000s, WRXs and etc. Face it, the people that buy these cars, only a very few are true car enthusiasts. Its not special to the majority of owners.

 

+1 Couldn't of said it better myself! My Z is my pride and joy, I love this car!!! I guess to some people it's just another car. If you ever see a DBZ with blacked out lights, I'll wave to ya!

 

^^Ditto. I'm a Z with blacked out lights too.

I will also wave, lol. Actually I still wave at every Z still, and I usually get a wave back. It must be my friendly face.

man, I didn't know so many peoples in zs waved at other z.. I must've missed a few and might have appeared like an *** cuz I didn't wave back.. doh.. bettah keep an eye out..

 

i got a nice wave from a dude in a white 06' so i waved back in Irvine. i gave a thumbs up to this old guy in a gray Z and he just stared at me all strange, so i was like ... what's wrong wit this guy?... really depends on who's driving but ill always wave back

 

sometimes when I see a hot chick in a z, I pull up next to them and wave frantically, with a crazy smile on my face.. then they speed up, but their car's stock and I catch up to them, still grinning like a madman. I like it the best when we're at a light.. they try to ignore me by pretending they're using the phone, but I know they see me waving!! at least 1 out of 5 chick will smile and wave back
