Uh first off you won't find a Pioneer Elite at Costco, secondly, a year ago a 50" elite would have been about 10 grand (from an authorized dealer).

I should also mention that Pioneer has a class action lawsuit against them because of their poor warranty and how fast they were burning out (6 months, etc) even though they have a beautiful picture.

This isn't a bad deal, although you might want to give some more details (brand/model). HDTV? EDTV?

An Elite from a wholesaler (such as Costco) 2 years ago was $5699.

1G and $100...lolz..i have to beat George.

You can bring your TV back to Costco and exchange for a new one. Since you have 5K credit, damn, pick any thing you want in there and resell it on ebay for profit.

That's a very nice TV. You should be able to get the 2 grand that you're asking. Try eBay if someone here doesn't pick it up. There's an option that only allows local bidders to bid on it so you don't have to ship.
