Default el toro track ?

Does anyone know about the el toro track. There was a caddy test drive thing there a couple months ago that i went to. Then I find out today that one of my clients went there with his porsche club to auto-x. I guess its open for 2 years until they start building in that area. Anyone know anything else about this? I want more info, can anyone set up track times and stuff? I have never tracked my car and I would like to try it out, and I am stoked that it is so close to home.

Let me know.

I think they are able to hold Auto-x events since it is an abandoned air base. I don't think they actually have a "track"

solo2 (www.solo2.com) just ran a couple of auto-x events at el toro. You might have to search other organizations that still runs on the base... since construction is starting soon, events may be few and scarce.

I've run several Autocross events there. You race on the tarmac and runways. The grip is insane since is concrete, but it also eats tires like crazy.
