What type of work are you planning on getting done? And how important is quality?

The better shops will always be pricey, you get what you pay for. Hiro at 16 Customs has fair prices, they use ppg paint so the color will be right on. They also have a polymer coating too that makes the car look high gloss for shows etc... I think it lasts for about 6 months. Anyways, they are in gardena 310-715-1810.

Well the price range you stated, what does that consist of? Are you just painting/installing a body kit? Check out Sixteen Customs in Gardena. Ask for Hiro and tell him Amit referred you. He did my kit and did an awesome job. Search my old posts for more info.

Yeah, you can check out the installation pix here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....highlight=hiro

As far as price, he did my front bumper, front lip, sideskirts, rear bumper, rear bumper skirt, taillights/turn signal lenses, and repainted my rear spoiler for around the lower end of the price range listed above. It's pricey, but even the guys at Envisage Design Lab (clear bra guys) were impressed by the quality--and these guys deal with Ferrari body shops on a daily basis.

Mine was below your lower quote too. But then again, it all depends on the quality of the body kit. Any authentic kit will need less prep and therefore a better price. If you have a terrible clone kit, expect to pay more. Hey BhashaZ, i did see that big Ings box there. I was envious, that was the kit i wanted. Looks great! Anyways, here's a pic of my USDM nismo kit and JDM nismo replica rear wing.

I just got my Z back from 16 Customs and they did an awesome job on my Nismo replica kit. But keep in mind they're not cheap.

Sure, here's a few, but these were just taken with my phone. I will get some high-res shots done pretty soon.

The paint and finish is excellent. I'm very pleased with their work. Thanks for referring me to them again. I will only be going to Sixteen Customs from now on for all my paint/body work.

Looks good! I guess 16's prices has gone up. I knew it was too good to last, but Hiro's a good guy, you can always go back to him with any problems.

Sigh**/ LMAO.

I hate to be an 4sshole here but this is your typical Z owner.

I always see numerous amounts of Z owners saying I want to spend close to nothing and get something thats perfect and top notch in quality.

Im not sure if this is because the majority of Z owners are maxed on funds wise alone just having the Z, or if they are kids with no money, or just cheap people in general...

I have a word for all the cheap people...

guess what... CHEAP QUALITY DOES NOT HAPPEN!

You guys need to understand that you are not going to get quality products or services if you pay barely anything for them. especially body work... the less they charge means they are not holding themselves to as high a standard before letting the car leave the shop, b/c if you complain, well, you cant really cuz the price was soo competative and if you do, you need to get a reality check and stfu.

If you want quality work done on your car, just f*kin pay someone what they deserve to do the quality work and get over it. I can guarentee if you take your car to a shop that holds themselves to a high standard, your car will return beautifully and of show quality.
