Default Track organizations

Anybody know anything about Leadfoot Adventures? I did a search but only found them promoting themselves, and I'd like some driver's experiences. Also if anybody could say something about Speedventures I'd appreciate it.

I've only done HPDE's with BMW CCA but I'd like to do more with other organizations. My only thing is that I'd like a group that's more focused on learning in a safe environment, rather than one without many rules and that is more focused on racing or personal best lap times.

Thanks!

i dont have first-hand experience, but i have heard good things about speedventures. i think lots of their events are held at streets of willow, which i hear is a great place for beginners.

unfortunately, i have no info on leadfoot.

sorry, im not much help...i am sure the experts will chime in soon tho.

Why not go attend skip barber / bob bondurant and other high performance racing schools... bit more expensive, but well worth it... they've courses catered to idiots that's just getting behind wheels and still haven't received their license yet to professional drivers...

Speedventures is really good. They cater to all the different levels of racers. Wnyone can go out and learn and they also have the guys that go ***** to the walls!!

You will have fun and learn either way you go from what I have heard.

One of the guys who attended the Leadfoot track day at Buttonwillow on Friday posted a report on his blog. Click the "Aug 18 2006" link here.

Our style is similar to SpeedVentures in that we're pretty casual, but we differ in some important ways too. Leadfoot events are not overcrowded and rookies are never charged extra for instruction. If you'd like to ask specific questions I'm happy to answer them here or chat on the phone.

Thanks monkeymaker. I've heard decent things but I may wait till December to do Buttonwillow (and not Streets of Willow).
