i just got a 30k mile tuneup from corner 3 garage in lake forest

nima is very thorough with info and pricing

steve is a very knowledgeable mechanic and listens to his customers

im also getting some bolt on parts from them and they quoted me a lower price than i can find over the internet, nima says he tries his best to beat anyones price

the work done on my car was the same as what the dealer does but for only 300 including all synthetic oil

compared to 650 from the dealer, i think its a pretty good deal

if anybody lives in the south part of socal i recommend these guys

I just had some work done by these guys as well, I like them and trust them. I got a major service, I am at 129K miles, a new spacer on the plenum and a few other small items. They are really trying to build a good business.

I am done with dealers for service.

went to their bbq and met the owner doods. they were cool and sounded like they take care of their peeps.

 

Great to know that we have another option out there for Z owners.

 

Best shop in OC for the Z community....and they also do full builds and TT installs....they built my first Z and did a great job!

 

+1 on corner 3 steve and nima are cool peoples. I was gonna get my 30k service there too, but i went to the dealership and they charged me $310 for the 30k service. So it was pretty much the same price as what corner 3 is doing it from. maybe a couple bucks more but atleast you have the nissan warranty. just my 0.02

 

but what kind of oil did they use?

my was 300 going all synthetic

You are given a choice. Corner3 supplies AMSoil, Royal Purple, Redline and Mobil but they also have dino oil if you like. All of the premium synthetic oils Corner3 buys are at wholesale prices and they pass on to the consumer. Good luck.

 

i know that because i went with amsoil at corner garage but i was asking mista350z cus i think dealer is still more expensive becuase they do not offer synthetic

 

Sorry for the miscommunication. But yes, you are right, dealer uses non-synthetic (unless you bring your own). Any regularly scheduled service at the dealer these days aren''t even worth it.

i sent my care today to get the fuel hoses replaced for the recall

and they call me back telling me that i need a 30k service

i literally said, "dont give me that crap because i just had my service done"

they were going to charge me 400 for the 30k service

damn dealers

 

I have not gotten any service done at corner3 yet. Steve answers all my questions throughly. You really rarley get that at a dealership if at all. I plan on getting some work done soon by them. Plus Steve is a Nissan Master Tech.

 

they have done everything on my car and they are great. i will eventualy do a FI build with them hopefully.

Again, I want to bump this thread for Corner3 for exceeding my expectations. They spent a full day stripping the Z of all my mods and re-installing the stock parts.

They also want me to thank my350z for all the support you have given them. These days they look like a performance shop with all the modded Z's and S2K's on the lift.

So for all the newbies in the area, here's a shop you can trust and depend on.

 

did my 15000 mile service there on my G. really kool guys who know cars. they do real good work at reasonable prices. my first time goin outside the dealer for service. corner 3 is the better alternative to the dealers. keep up the good work guys. thanks

 

Yeah, I think they're my new shop. Can't beat how nice they are and thorough as well. Plus it's just so cool to come get your car and see a bunch of other modded Z's all over the place.

Plus, even if the prices are the same I'd rahter take my car to them than go through the dealer BS of them trying to upsell me or claim I need to have this-or-that work done when I really don't. No hassles at Corner 3 = good.
