im actually not asleep.. unfortunately. just finished my damn perf review. except i did take another break and watched this completely intriguing, provoking movie, that ended without very much conclusion and completely pissed me off. I LIKE HAPPY RESOLUTIONS, DAMMIT.

my parents printer is being GHEY AS HELL and won't print this stupid review. i emailed it to my boss and myself so hopefully i can print it at work tomorrow.

whoever designs this performance review has HORRIBLE organization and communication skills, which is a problem considering it comes from the HR department. none of the instructions made any sense, and neither did the instructions that tell you how to add up the scores. stupid, stupid, stupid.

and with that, goodnight. hopefully i won't be waken up by weed-destroying helicopters and faux robbers tomorrow morning. if i wake up at all.

no wait, i'm back. i must whine a little more. i don't understand my parents' inability to do simple computer maintenance, like install updates. all it consists of is clicking an icon, and clicking an "install" button. i don't get it. they have a $5k PC and they're gonna *** IT ALL UP.

Its because old people just don't understand that these things even need to be updated. You should see my office, people usually cancell any updated that are being done to their computers. Oh and this one stupid lady wanted me to help her organize 22,000 emails she had in her trash. She didn't want them deleted, she wanted sub folders in her trash to organize emails by month. I wonder if she sticks her snail mail, like bills and magazines, in the trash and takes them out to pay them or read an article. ITS CALLED THE TRASH FOR A REASON!!!!!!

Okay, thats my rant for this morning.

um, sorry to burst your bubble but my parents are FAR from what you would consider "old"... my mom's a hot 44 yr old and my dad's also a hot 50 yr old... that's kind of insulting actually.
both use very complicated software and platform systems at work... my mom's some sort of excel whiz kid on top of that, and my dad is ridiculously adept at the engineering, architecture, and construction programs he engages on a daily basis. careful with the assumptions..

Didn't mean to insult... I should have said older. My parents are the same way. Its funny that people can be so adept at complex engineering programs, etc, but something like updating your OS, can be beyond them. Its a generational thing.

I'm sure your parents are awesome (as are mine) and an insult to them would be like insulting my own.

I want to see this movie: King of Kong: A Fist Full of Quarters.

Ben, you'll appreciate this one since you love the 80s and classic games.

Its going to become an addiction. Actually, I guess it already is an addiction, now I'm just starting to spend the money to feed it.

Its going to get really ugly after the first time I track my car, then I'll probably never stop.
