Just got a call from Technosquare. They got my ECU back and will be overnighting it to me. I'll be up and running again tomorrow night.

While everything is still sort of taken apart, maybe I should do the bypass on my D3, so I don't have to have the ebrake on to enter nav info or watch video.

definitely do the bypass! its super easy and worth it.. i dont watch movies really when i'm driving (unless my passenger wants to) but punching in addresses for navi is a lot easier when i don't have to pull up the ebrake to look for something. there's a thread somewhere with full detail on how to do it. if not, goto avic411.com!

Yeah, I've been reading avic411.com. I don't really want to watch videos either while I'm driving, but to be able to use the nav without having to park would be nice.

I'll just have my installer bypass the parking brake lock feature when I install my D3.

My installer wouldn't do it, but then again he was a dumb ass who didn't know you could change the backgrounds on the D3.

In retrospect I wish I had installed everything myself. Maybe if and when I get a sub and amp, I'll do it myself.
