Wanted to see if people want to set up a canyon run up in Latigo for the month of november? All i see is meets but no more runs. I was like i have installed my Coil overs and my sways, But know that i am ready no one wants to go for a run. Lets go enjoy a saturday or sunday early morning and go have some fun on the turns. All Z's and G's welcomed Pretty much anyone that likes to drive in the canyon, I will probably have some buddies with wrs and evos. So come my fellow z people lets make it a good canyon run.

 

Hey I'm in the process of getting my engine build done and don't know when it will be done but I do have a friend with a G that could probably make it. I'm in some way or another up for a canyon run.

 

Set it up soon before the rain starts. The earlier the better.

If you don't do it this weekend though, you'll probably have to wait for december as thanksgiving weekend will probably result in a small turnout.

 

I am talking about maybe next weekend on a saturday maybe in the morning, Get a couple of runs and then we have something to eat. I will post a copy of the run, So we can see how to set it up. It defintly start in latigo. I will set it up.

 

I think i will do a quick one on saturday or sunday anyone interested, Then we will schedule a big one.

Im up for it but the last time i went on a my350z canyon run we ran into this.

 

yea and a suspended license eh hem. not me i wasnt here =D. just dont go double the speed limit and opposing traffic. it should be fine

 

latigo canyon is clear around 2 to 3 am

 

 

yeah watch out though for cops alot of CHP around there since Initial D kids burned the spot

 

Latigo never has cops in the canyon since its a single lanes, I have been their alot of times, Never had a problem, We will be driving the speed limit and having fun. The picture i think is the Angelos Crest, Latigo is only single lane.

I prefer sunday, but unless we go early, there's more cops and bikers on sunday.

Don't post maps silly guys. Really you should edit that post.

I think as long as we take it easy on the main roads like mulholland, everything should be fine.

There is actually a coffee shop in the same plaza area to the left of Ralphs that is a perfect spot to meet. Important thing to note, coming in to the Ralphs parking lot, keep it cool. Last time there were two motorcycle cops that were using radar and hitting people left and right with tickets.

Comments
1. Most of you have been on these runs before so you know safety is the first and foremost concern. Do not drive beyond you or your Z's limits. If you want to go a little faster, you're up front. If you want to take it easy, stay in the rear.
2. Keep enough distance between you and the car in front of you. This is probably the single best thing you can do to stay safe.
3. Do not exceed the speed limit on Mulholland Highway. There are simply too many cops on that stretch of road to bother going faster than posted speed limits.
4. The meet time is 9:00 a.m. with a departure time of 9:30 a.m. sharp
