Default New owner in Camarillo, Ca

Hi fellas. Just picked up this 04 Z. Pretty happy with it. I'm coming from BMWs and RXs. I'm in Camarillo, Ca in Ventura County. I have a full auto shop at my disposal here in the Navy base. If you need to use it PM me and I will be glad to help you out. I usually charge lunch as long as you provide all the stuff needed.

Smile Mr-x

Welcome

MR-X this is a great 350Z web site.....

Your offer to help our members in the Cam Area will probably make you a very busy guy.

Make sure to ask your service fee in advance.... ( Non Nissan Agency work is valued at $50 an hour minimum ) please don't ask too low... Chili Cheese Dog

Nissan in our area is $97 per hour.. Have your customer ( or you) ask the agency for the price and cut it in half...

Cheers Amy -

Thanks Amy. Yeah for a job like that (cams change) I would have to charge because that's an all day job. I'm also a rotary motor guy at heart so getting back to deal with timing belts, will required some refreshing. But it won't be long.

Thanks guys. Got a question though. I notice that the car didn't come with a front plate. I went to the dealer to see if they have it and they told me that it is not required since the Z doesn't have a spot for it. Any one else?

MR_X you will be pleased to know the VQ35 has no timing belts.
Three Chains that last near for-ever. Pulling the front timing chain cover
( Say replace with a Polished one ) R&R is a full days job. Add Samco Hose set here.

PM me ..

well when you go in the Pt Mugu base, you can't miss my house. I live right in front of the main gate. As you go in my house will be in the right side right before the blinking yellow traffic light. You will either see the Z there and/or a green BMW 330i. Shoot me a PM if you want to stop by.
