got beat by a moded sti on the 15fwy doing about 140mph what a rush then off van buren in ontario i took a evo from a third gear pull by a car lenght didn't really seam right, thought an evo was faster either that or the guy doesn't know how to drive all i have is k&n intake anyone have any encounters with evo's or sti's

 

nice dude. Hey be careful out in Ontario man. Before I bought my 350z I ran into another my350z member out there in my supercharged s2000. We did a couple pulls and I came on here to send him a message. Well turns out he got busted less than an hour later. Anyways what year is your Z? We should do some friendly pulls of our own.

havent had a Z pull on me in third yet...i still have my 03 track with all the bolt on mods and had a friend run me in it. I have 3 other friends with Z's and were all the same. I have to tell you, i still love me Z no matter what!!

 

well, evo 9 is much faster than the 8's and obviously your mods list, no z will be able to pull on you hahaha. had an 8 but never really encountered a z. STi's are pretty fast with basic bolt-ons. i miss my evo just a lil bit =P

 

4WD's dont pull as much on the freeway, i have taken out evo's and STi's from rolling on the freeway but off the line in irvine a year ago i got my *** handed to me by an STi..... :P

something was too funny though i recall on Jamboree in that mini freeway part this one time some blue evo was ahead and started taking off.... i gave chase it was f*cking fast it even back fired a huge black cloud of smoke which sounded like a shot gun which made me duck....lol i was maybe 4 car lengths away but he couldnt really get away from me we end up meeting at the light by the mc donalds on the corner, some white dood with a Ralph's grocery polo shirt (guess he worked there) he had some FN01R's hes like man i have 512 HP on pump gas, 700+ HP on C16 started naming me this whole catalog i remember pistons, upgraded turbo, cams, jdm BLAH BLAH BLAH.... hes like what do you have im like "stock" (which is true i just have intake and exhaust...) then he like boned out making a left turn...what a tool... but yeah for the amount of HP he claimed ... he didnt really pull pull on me, my bro's Supra rated somewhere between the 440-480hp area on BPU setup kicks my *** on the freeway.... is it because the Supra has bigger displacement on the motor or just cause the guy had 4WD on the freeway or he was probably obviously lying :P

i had many runs with random cars. 300zx tt, we were both entering the freeway and he floored it so i passed it doin 138. s2000, just messin around on 210 and i went over 130mph. i had a really nice run with a srt-4... but damn! couldn't chase that thing, too fast lol ... on the 5 freeway. i never did any freeway runs with evo/sti's but i race with my friend's heavily modded wrx all the time.

yea, i need to know how fast the evo really is. There is a hater down my street with a evo 8 and he drives slow, then comes up my street and flores it so the blow off valve goes right when he goes up my street and back down and right in front of me and my friends. I know he only does it cause we all roll in nice cars. I want to turbo my Z, but dont want the problems. Times like this i wish i didn't sell my modded Rx-7.

i thought no 1 raced at ontario anymore. i went last time no races.
