Default FS: 10th anniversary 1980 Datsun 280ZX with only 56k original miles

My dad originally got this a few months ago from a friend who gave it as a gift/ he kind of owed my dad some money but it was more of a token of grattitude. It is pretty restored, runs great, AC believe it or not works, completely bone stock except the Tokico blues i replaced inturn of the blown shocks... has new tires, radiator etc but amazingly the car retained only 56k miles and is actually the 10th anniversary is a limited production of the 1980 Datsun 280Z with a plaque 772 out of only 3000 made which came in either a 2tone color like ours or i believe black or burgundy. It was garaged kept for most of its life by some old grandma who gave it to her son in law who gave it to my dad.... it would make a good project car where you could throw in an RB or Sr20det motor but the mileage and condition of the car is pretty much almost flawless or great condition considering the fact it is over 26 years old, original paint and no cracks in the leather seats etc
- inner roof lining needs to be repaired
- oxidation of paint on rear hatch
- muffler piping leak which im going to fix probably this weekend

only reason we are selling it because we have 6 cars for our 2 car garage house, no room

thanks
$5500 obo

Wow -- I've been bitten by the nostalgia bug: my father, who passed away last year, used to race the early Zs back in the day.

Any pics of the oxidation? any signs of rust in the wheel wells? How bad is the T-Top leak?

I remember my uncle had one that has a 2+2 seater. Remember he paid something like 13k for it when it was new.
