I've been so busy, I haven't been able to do anything fun. I wasn't able to follow through on the Magic Mountain get together or El Guy's run. Well, December is likely going to be too busy as well, especially with the holidays so, how does everyone feel about a January meet and run? I'm thinking one of our traditional Santa Monica Mountain runs and lunch at a nice restaurant. Latigo, Yerba Buena, Stunt Road, the usual twisty suspects are in order. And, either Duke's, Neptune's or Arbuelleta's for food.

If you're interested, sign up and indicate your Saturday or Sunday preference. Meet location will be the usual spot, Starbucks on Ventura and Topanga Canyon. Meet time 9:00 a.m. Departure time 9:30 a.m. My cell is available by PM.

If there is sufficient interest in another Santa Barbara/Montecito cruise, we can consider something in the spring.

someone post the exact address, or a link to a map....... "the starbucks on ventura and topanga canyon" doesn't help too much, as there are like 20 starbucks' around there

 

haha, i just looked and i couldnt find THE starbucks. perhaps the original poster can shine a light on this.

Comments
1. Most of you have been on these runs before so you know safety is the first and foremost concern. Do not drive beyond you or your Z's limits. If you want to go a little faster, you're up front. If you want to take it easy, stay in the rear.
2. Keep enough distance between you and the car in front of you. This is probably the single best thing you can do to stay safe.
3. Do not exceed the speed limit on Mulholland Highway. There are simply too many cops on that stretch of road to bother going faster than posted speed limits.
4. The meet time is 9:00 a.m. with a departure time of 9:30 a.m. sharp

6. I am not an event coordinator and anyone attending this run does so at his or her own risk and assumes the liability for any personal injury or property damage.
7. Gas up in advance of attendance. Check your tires for pressure and wear.
