This is a total shot-in-the-dark because most people in the States aren't familiar with him but by any stroke of luck, would anyone happen to have any extra tickets for the exclusive sold-out shows (2/03/07-2/04/07) at the Avalon in Hollywood?

My buddies and I logged on to Ticketmaster when they went on sale and they sold out in less than 10 seconds!! Unbelievable.

For anyone that's the least bit curious: Paul Weller is a legendary British musician/songwriter (former leader of The Jam and The Style Council) who's been big in Europe and Japan for years. It's very rare for him to play in the U.S. He routinely sells out huge arenas/festivals abroad.

I figure I've got nothing to lose by throwing this out there. The crooks on E-Bay are asking for entirely too much.

fn ticketmaster and those "sold out in 10 seconds" events...why do they even bother and put them on sale all the tickets go to some underappreciative industry ***** that only talk during the shows anyway prior to the sale...same thing happened to Sting last week

I know. I know. Sad but very true. And they always leave right after the only song they know.

 

Yeah, I grew up in Germany and The Style Counsil was huge there. Kinda sad that they never quite made it over here.
Everytime I play someone any SC or Paul Weller people love it, that counts for something
