So you are just making back the money that he spent.
hahah
Okay, we're about 3 weeks away, and I wanted to know if there are any preliminary times of departure...
I'm sure everyone is getting off work on Friday in the afternoon- would it even be worthwhile to coordinate a caravan up? Or would we just all meet up at some location in Vegas?
I also would like to get an idea about planned events(other than the planned clubbing) during the evening so i can make appropriate reservations at Sapphire for us. They have reservable booths similar to those found at Denny's; they are semi-circular, seat ~5-10, with a table in the middle, but the table is small and mobile, so it can be moved out of the way when the ladies want to perform. I owe John a lap dance...and I always keep my word.
I'm just throwing ideas out there...gimme some feedback.

Awww... how come not this time Patric? It'd be fun.
And I'll just not book it that soon then. Btw, the room's at Caesar's are for regular rooms and not suites. Told you it's expensive at this time.
Just looking at hotels.com, they have Embassy Suites for 199 both nights too. I'll keep checking to see if I can get a better deal or bigger rooms.

4 weeks, right? May 31st weekend, not memorial day?

whatever, i'm e-z. as long as i can dance, see some girlz, and maybe eat at a buffet, i'm happy. hopefully i'll be able to resist the call of the BJ tables....

BJ tables: likewise...i'm sure a couple hands won't hurt.
Well, for now, it seems that I'll be there thursday already so I can meet up with all of you on friday whenever. I can only hang out at night cuz I'm there for a job, but it's all cool. I'm still looking for a room and that's my biggest concern now. Seriously though... what hotel accomodations do you guys want? I'm finding barely any deals and am wondering how much you wanna pitch in for a room. If it's enough, we can just get a bigger suite and all of us can fit in there.
But yeah... you guys plan what we'll do. I'm fine with whatever except sitting around and betting. I just don't gamble.

I don't want to speak for all of us but I believe if we all chip in $50-$75 for the two nights we will have enough money for a large suite. Assuming 10 people, that will give us $500 - $750 for a room. That will cover $250 to $375 per night.
Since you're kind enough to take care of getting us the suite, if necessary, I don't believe it would be unreasonable to ask for people to paypal you in advance. Alternatively, I may guarantee the room expense. I would rather not be left with the room expense so I'm going to ask that you carefully follow the following instructions.
To all Vegas Run Participants
To confirm a head count and to establish room size, please RVSP your attendance below. Please do not confirm unless you are a definite attendee.
RSVP:
1. Name
2. # of Guests including yourself
I'll start off:

*sorry, couldn't resist*N E WAY, Mike brought up a good point - will hotels be checking the number of people in the rooms? I know the Luxor has a pretty strict policy b/c of their silly sideways elevators, so not there. Plus it sucks. He thought that 6 to a room was the max, esp'lly if it's a normal sized room.
We're def'ly in.

I am pretty sure I am going... but I don't want to commit yet, cause I'm not DEFINITE... also, if I bring a date, she'll probably want our own room...
I don't know why... anyone have a clue?
Anyhow, I'll let you know as soon as I know.

I'm in btw. I'll be there even if you guys don't come.
Anyway, what do you guys think of the Alexis Park Resort? It offers suites from 119 up to 269 a night for the nights we want. The 119 one is probably as big as a Ventian suite. Like a king bed, a small little area, and then the door. The 269 one is like two stories with 2.5 bathrooms, a king sized bed in one room and a double in another room. Lemme cut and past...
The Regal suites offer two luxuriously appointed bedrooms, one set with a king bed, the other with a double bed. This 1,275 square foot, two-story suite is loaded with amenities including gas fireplaces, two and a half bathrooms and dining table for four. Bedrooms are on separate floors offering privacy and comfort for up to four adults.
Anyway, if you guys want it, let's get some people saying they're in or not. If we have 10 people, it'd be around 27 dollars a night before taxes. It's not too far from the strip too. It's in between paradise road and the strip...

I like the 2.5 bath. I like the beds. I like the space. Only thing I'm thinking is, I don't think we'll be spending much time in the room. I bet we'll be at the tables, at a strip club, or otherwise engaged. The room will just be there to crash. Maybe a little partying.
On the other hand, $269 a night is cheap, even if we only fit 6 instead of 10 ($45.00).
I'm in for the $269.00 suite. So, what, just four of us? LOL.
I have seen a couple of different hotels mentioned here. The date is actually for the 31th of May to accomodate the women of my350z.com. Which might work for me.
Just trying to get a handle on things so I can clear some time up.
Adding myself back on list.
