Hehe, it doesn't matter to me I guess. As long as people are in, I can just charge it first. Thanks Dan.
But yeah... whichever you want. Excalibur, Alexis Park, or any of the other places. I really don't mind. I just figured the suite would be nice cuz it'd have 2 bedrooms, a living room, and 2.5 baths. But it might be outta the way and a little too far. Bally's is right in the middle of the strip and it's 189 Friday and 149 for Saturday. Anyway, let's try to decide by the end of this week, yeah?

Hey all,

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who offered to pay/help pay for this trip for me. I think all of you who know me know that I just can't accept that generosity, even though I know its completely sincere. Seriously, john350z, hfm, importriders, I really appreciate the offers. I wish I could make it work, but y'all know I prefer to pay my own way when I can (I know, I'm the cashless wonder (MrB & Iris, I'll get you back, I swear!)), and this trip sounds like SOOO much fun, its just too much for me to accept money from you guys and feel good about it. I promise all 3 of y'all next time I see you I'M buying drinks.

The good news is though that I'm getting out of my lame apartment with my current dick roommate, and I'm gonna be moving in to a house with a few guys that are really cool, so once I'm all situated it will definitely become the go-loco party pad for the my350 crew (not to mention y'all won't have to worry about getting your cars keyed like how it is at my current apt.). Plus I've got some good lead on jobs, so hopefully by the time the next vegas run comes up I'll be in like it ain't a thing.

Thanks again, and you guys better have a kick *** time.

Take care!

Hehe, don't worry about paying me back dude. It's all good. BUT if you do reconsider about letting us help out with the trip, I'll gladly pitch in for the get Dave to Vegas fund cuz in all seriousness... it just won't be the same without ya!

Dave, I have a solution to your dilemma here...

Just do what I'd do.

Take out a $500 marker... and win money! Go home with $5,000... help pay for your house, and buy everyone lap dances!

Dude, I don't even remember what you owe me.

We are not paying for YOUR benefit - we are paying for ours - we are not going to have as much without you.

Plus I'm throwing myself into the pool. So that's like 4 people to split it between, and it comes out to like NOTHING.

Hey, look at this as a sign of your popularity! And you thought you had to be a PowerPuff girl to get anywhere on this board....

SO COME ALREADY!!!!

For some STRANGE reason, when I read the statement above... I thought of Iris and Butterfly fighting in a pool of water... Like that beer commercial...

Oooooh...

Ok, sorry... long delusional day at work!

Okay, I can understand that. How about this, I got your room. When you're all moved in and ready to rumble, you can pay me back in drinks. It's now a loan and you now have no excuse. Besides, we can make Iris jump in the pool, you now not only have no excuse, you have motivation.

Expect you there!

I actually may go, since you guys changed it to the 31st. If I do, it'll probably be a last minit decision for me though, so I'll get my own room and all if I go. I'm 75% right now.

I got an offer in the mail for the Luxor hotel, which is not that bad, I liked it. Anyway, besides the sideways elevators that make you dizzy, it's not that bad. I might end up staying here if we don't get organized soon. Luxor special It takes a bit to load.

It's 99$ a night with a two night minimum, and 100$ more to upgrade to suite, plus they give you some other stuff.

Yes please... can we just put out all the options for hotels + price in one post and then chose one.

It's getting close to the end of the month and it would be good to have everyone room in same hotel.

YES. Do we need a new thread? It would be MUCH BETTER to have everyone in the same hotel so we can visit rooms, like in college dorms. Then somebody just has to call one, or we can vote - but it has to be soon.

So what I'm hearing now:

Alexis Park
Excalibur
Luxor

Please put hotel info here. This thread is a getting a bit unwieldy.

Anyway, what do you guys think of the Alexis Park Resort? It offers suites from 119 up to 269 a night for the nights we want. The 119 one is probably as big as a Ventian suite. Like a king bed, a small little area, and then the door. The 269 one is like two stories with 2.5 bathrooms, a king sized bed in one room and a double in another room. Lemme cut and past...

The Regal suites offer two luxuriously appointed bedrooms, one set with a king bed, the other with a double bed. This 1,275 square foot, two-story suite is loaded with amenities including gas fireplaces, two and a half bathrooms and dining table for four. Bedrooms are on separate floors offering privacy and comfort for up to four adults.
$269 for two stories, 2.5 bathrooms. We can fit six easy and probably more in this one suite. Guys in one bed room, gals in another. Or, we can get two of the smaller. Guys in one, gals in the other. But, the guys is definitely going to be crowded.

I think the large suite would be more fun.

So, I'm voting Alexis Park Regal Suite.

We are 10 days away from the Vegas run so I'm going to repost on this thread in hopes of getting a few more poin...er, in hopes of reminding everyone of things they need to do:

1. Make sure your car is in shape. Check/change your oil, check your tire pressure, check your radiator fluid level. If your alignment is off, 600 miles wont help your tirewear.

2. Bring your air matress/sleeping blankets and a change of clothes...duh.

3. Bring your FRS radio.

4. Plan to meet at 8:00 p.m. at Ontario Hills mall. For those of you leaving in the morning or taking something other than a Z, poo poo on you.

5. Ladies, bring your swimwear, DCZoner demands it as part of the privilege of you having his company.

6. IHBB, bring the Cohiebas, DCZoner demands it as part of the privilege of you having his company.

7. Got your radar detector?

8. Iris, I hear the Jaws theme in the background but we're still missing somebody.

9. Who is picking up John at the airport and at what time?

10. I'm bringing a Playstation 2 so feel free to bring games or DVDs.

11. As Aloha said, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, expecially incriminating pics.

12. Did I mention that you are poo'd upon if you're leaving in the morning or taking something other than a Z?

I thought I pointed out that "whatever goes in Vegas, stays in Vegas"... but I never said anything about PICS too!!! I think pictures should be okay.

Anyhow, if anyone has an extra FRS, can they bring one and loan it to me? If I win my usual G, I'll fill their tank up for the trip. Nothing if I lose money~~~ =D
