8 pm (unless people want earlier) - Meeting spot for LA Z's: Somewhere in downtown LA before we head down to Orange County? Not sure how many people would meet in LA to head down, so I'm not sure how big of a parking/meeting area we need.

Plan A - 9ish pm?: Food, pool, games, talking. Where is BJ's? D&B's sounds good too - it has pool and games, right? I don't really like Universal - I'd rather go down to Orange or Irvine even though it means more driving for me.

Plan B: A bar/cafe/lounge. K-town or standard or anywhere, doesn't matter.

Plan C: someone's place?

So Friday is DEFINITE.

Still not definite b/c some are in, some are out. I can only do one night at a time right now anyway.

My buddy 'rayray' just called me back re: sunset room.

He said he can get us a group discount if I give him a headcount. He also said that he could get the valet guy to park all the Z's up front, lined up.

I need to let him know by tonight so he can arrange things.

I'm in for a drive down to Irvine if you guys want. Just remember, traffic on Friday night is pretty bad till 8 or 9. I live in Arcadia, next to Pasadena so I'm in the middle. Where will the meet up point be? I'm like 90% sure I'm going but will confirm tonight.

 

I'm pretty sure I'm in for Friday. Again, just let me know when/where.

I'd be in for a run on saturday too. Latigo would be cool w/ me.

 

Hehe, so 8:00 p.m. Friday. Where? You know, I'm kinda diggin saint's offer since his bud owns the place. But, not jazzed about anyone valeting the car, not going to happen.

Iris, you need to set the meet spot. I'm sure the guys will go wherever you and butterfly pick. God, did that sound whipped.

 

Just thought I'll list some resturants in the OC area.

BJ's is a good place to chill and talk and there's one in Huntington Beach on Edinger and Beach blvd. The parking is big so i'm sure that won't be a problem.

D&B: There's one in The Block in Orange and Spectrum in Irvine.

Main ST in HB: Lots of bars / resturants to chill.

Going south on PCH from HB is a nice drive. Lots of people are usually in Newport Beach / Laguna at night walking around.

 

Sunset room is nice. If someone can get us in that would be great. Usually, the only way to get into the club is to go early and have dinner there. Otherwise, it's nearly impossible to get in. I was there once and a guy pulls up in a Ferrari 360 Modena. Walks up to the front and said that he was a regular. The guy at the door laughed and told him "sorry, you ain't getting in."

Anyway, lots of eye candy there. Parking a line of 350's in front would be tight.

 

I personally think the BJ's in TUSTIN (just off the 5 FWY on Jamboree) is probably a better location. TONS of parking available as well...

So we're hanging out in OC???

Well, I PM'd Butterfly for input b/c I wanted to see if she'd prefer the Sunset Room or BJ's, but haven't heard. Seeing as how she was the one who first suggested it tho, I think BJ's will work for her. Plus it has self-parking in a big lot. Plus it is more lowkey and not on the Sunset Strip. Cons: zxsaint and onefastdoc - don't want to lose them. But won't the Sunset Room not get going for awhile anyway? We wouldn't be able to meet until 11 or later, and I don't want to wait that long.

LA people - Caravan
Is 7:30 pm good to meet or too early (work, traffic, etc.)? I'm trying to think of a central point (somewhere along the 5) so nobody has to drive too far out of their way. Is around Staples Center absurd? There is an Avengers event according to the SC calendar, but who goes to that? I can't think of a fairly obvious meeting point - need help on this one.

p.s. Do people need others' #'s? I have a contact list but it doens't have everybody on it.
