you have mt baldy close by, which is connected to glendora ridge road and GMR which is very technical. then you have crestline and the rim of the world which is about half an hour away

No, no, no, that place has atleast 4 CHP (bikes and cars) on it at all times. They have been trying to stop the deaths, by stopping the street bikes and sports cars. I would stay away from that road

Ortega FTL not only are there lots of cops on it but only the few miles on the east end is worth the drive.

Angeles Crest is also patrolled. Mt. Baldy to GMR/Azusa is fun and technical. I have mixed feelings about GMR so I don't like to take that road.

There's some roads off of Angeles Crest that aren't as heavily patrolled. PM me and I can work on getting you some maps and personal routes.

Come on guys, leave him alone. In orange county ( under the orange curtain ) ortega is the only street that does not have a light every 1/4 mile. People from that cop infested land think ortega is the only real road in Cali worth driving.

Personally I have several roads around me that have no cops . . and are great fun to drive. I have not seen one cop in the last 8 months of 'fun drives' I have taken.

And as for maps . .. google.com

but be careful....get used to the road b4 doing any "spirited" driving....

was in my buddies corolla when he wrecked it up there during a run and seen too many people get hurt.

very scenic route though... i come in off of the 210 and azusa canyon, take GMR up, baldy ridge to baldy village, then come back again. really nice area. jsut be careful cuz sometimes after rain or a good wind storm, there will be debris in the road.

its great if you have a motorcycle....i love to ride the ridge on my suzuki.
