Camping sites
list some cool camping sites.. I used to go a lot.
Beach camping is, by far, the best. I always bring a ton of gourmet food, such as crab, shrimp, lobster, new york steak, rib eye etc.. it's all about eating and sleeping.

I'm not too big on camping at the coast but Sonoma was great. I pefer being more inland up near Bishop. Very beautiful area to be around. Towards the end of the trip I can barley bring myself to leave.

This is a good site to get more info on various camp sites in california:

Lake Cachuma is about 3 hour drive north, from Socal. There's a big lake there and you can rent motor boats. My GF and I rode on one when the sun was setting and it was gorgeous. I'll post some pics of places that I've been, when I get home.
