sup bro, ill talk to Ken about it but i know he's leaning towards the Nismo RS i think but i am totally in love with the Cwest hood ill keep you and everyone else posted
A lot of you guys are referring to Do-luck hood and nismo vented hood..
How about a COMBO??
we are talking Custom made hood...

BTW, this is already being produced by Tommy..GB was started ever since last June!

Shine, buy back authenic do-luck hood from tommy if you ever gonna make mold for this since it is really hard to get hands on one.

if you make the RS nismo hood, then at least put some ridges infront of the vents as to lift the air up and over the vents to suck the air out rather than have it flat... just a suggestion

also.. check out the ESPRIT hood. it's got channels UNDER the hood to suck air out from rear of the engine bay..
I personally think the Ings, Cwest, and the new Nismo hood are the most effective. There is a vent right after the radiator that is very important. This is important if your Z is for racing. However, I also see that there are a bunch of Nismo fanatics here that like the subtle look. It's going to be a hard one to decide.
If anything, it's Cwest vs Old Nismo Hood.
Cwest hood FRP retails for roughly $1000. This is one sick hood. Not a bad price. Their Carbon hood is $2000. The only way we can compete is to make a CF one for roughly around the $1000 range.
The nismo hood is $2000 for FRP I believe? That seems steep for something that looks like it can be made at home, which is why I don't see anyone rocking it.
I am leaning towards Cwest unless you guys can convince me otherwise. I don't think there is a debate about which is more effective. The C-west one is hands down more effective.

Plus even if Nismo were to sell it, it's Nismo. Nismo = overpriced
That's why we're asking you to make an affordable replica
